Your 2010 Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is composed of seven annually elected, all volunteer, homeowners who administer the provisions of Burke Centre's governing documents.

-- The Burke Centre Conservancy's governing documents provide the authority for the Board of Trustees to establish policies and oversee all functions of the association.  The Board of Trustees also has the legal (fiduciary) responsibility for the Burke Centre Conservancy.

-- The Board of Trustees appoints members to subordinate Boards (Appeals, ARB), to cluster committees when representatives wish to join after the annual community election, and to various standing and ad-hoc committees and task forces.

Burke Centre encourages resident participation by working together with the Board of Trustees and Conservancy staff to implement policies and a wide variety of programs, committees and activities.

The Board of Trustees meet on the second Thursday of every month, 7:30 p.m., at the Woods Community Center unless otherwise noted on the meeting schedule. The Woods Community Center is located at 10100 Wards Grove Circle. Click here for their annual meeting calendar.

Additionally, a Board Working Session is held each month on the Tuesday  prior to the week of Neighborhood Councils/Board meetings. These sessions are also held at the Woods Community Center, at 7:30 p.m., unless otherwise updated in the Conservator and BC BUZZ.
