| The following lists upcoming Burke Centre Conservancy-sponsored events and business meetings. Please note that most events are offered only to Burke Centre residents -- unless otherwise noted. For events requiring registration, please use the Conservancy RSVP form under 'e-forms.' JUNE 14, 2013 -- BURKE CENTRE'S FAMILY FUN NIGHT: Join us this Friday evening (RAIN DATE: Sunday, June 16th) for the Burke Centre Family Fun Night at the Burke Centre Ball Field (next to the VRE lot). Gates will open at 6 PM with free admission. All families are asked to bring non-perishable/canned food items for outreach to the homeless in DC.
This year's event will feature a Family Glow Run (registration starts at 6 PM; the run starts at 6:45 PM), The Kings Park Concert Band (starts at 7:30 PM), and an outside jumbo movie screening of THE HUNGER GAMES (starts at approx. 8:45 PM). Concession stand will be open selling hotdogs, hamburgers, ice cream, chips, etc. Please join us!
