Daily Guest Pass
The Board of Trustees elected to sell daily guest passes only from the Burke Centre Conservancy office. The intention of this program has been to reduce the amount of administrative work for lifeguards so that they may focus completely on pool safety and operations. The lifeguards must and will continue to verify all pool visitors upon entry.
The overall goal is to provide all pool members and their guests with a safe and enjoyable pool season.
Community feedback about this program was considered by the Board of Trustees in February 2009. The Board acknowledged the insightful input received from the 2008 season regarding the inconveniences that can be caused when people are unable to buy guest passes at a pool. While they were sympathetic, they chose to continue the program because of the safety and other benefits achieved.
For your convenience, you may call up until 4 PM during business hours, M-F, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to Noon, to request and pay for daily guest passes over the phone with a credit card. Following verification of your membership and guest pass purchase eligibility, the staff will notify the pool of your purchase for entry. You will need to know what pool you will be visiting when you call.
Pool guest passes are limited to 30 visits per membership. This can include a combination of 10-visit guest passes and daily guest passes, as long as the total number purchased does not exceed 30 visits.
